What inspired you to start this? What’s your personal backstory?
I’m Brent Whistler. Microsoft, American Express, plus a bunch of small ventures. I learned the hard way how chaotic launching a business can feel when you piece together guides and tools in a patchwork of bookmarks and random apps.
With my service management experience, I just thought—this should be a process.
What’s your current traction?
Still pre-revenue, so no MRR or ARR to report yet.
What’s one decision or moment that changed everything for your startup?
It wasn’t a product launch. It was embracing the chaos we’d lived through. If it frustrated us, it must frustrate many others. So we built ourselves a toolkit, BuildRunKit as the solution we always needed.
